À propos de ce spécimen
Peruvian pyrite with marmatite at 4.3 cm and 42 g; a miniature. Keep dry. A cluster of bright pyrite cubes in several sizes with glossy black marmatite crystals between them; the supplier notes the sphalerite fluoresces under UV.
Pyrite is the most collected metallic mineral, and the best pieces combine sharp form with a lustre that has not dulled; store it dry to keep it that way.
Peru's Huancavelica and Pasco mines are famous for pyrite, quartz, fluorite and sulfide specimens.
Dimensions place it in the miniature range, 4.3 × 2.8 × 1.7 cm (1.69 × 1.10 × 0.67 in) and 42 g (1.5 oz). The specimen is otherwise sold in the condition shown.
Every specimen here is photographed and catalogued individually before listing.
