À propos de ce spécimen
Yunnan chrysanthemum calcite at 15 cm; a display plate with an unusual radiating habit.
Collectors chase calcite for form rather than colour: crisp crystal edges and a habit you can identify from across the room.
Yunnan's copper and lead-zinc districts produce the azurite, malachite, pyromorphite, hemimorphite and blue aragonite that define Chinese secondary minerals.
The piece is large cabinet in size, 15 × 9.8 × 6.3 cm (5.91 × 3.86 × 2.48 in) and 634 g (22.4 oz). The specimen is otherwise sold in the condition shown.
Carbonate: never clean with acid or vinegar.
Each specimen is individually photographed and catalogued before it is listed.
