One small tower of stacked, coin-shaped calcite discs, pale pink and slightly translucent, stands upright in the middle of a rounded plate of fine clear quartz needles. The pagoda form is complete from base to tip.
Stacked coin calcite on quartz from Fujian at thumbnail size. The photos show its response under UV at 365 nm. A tiny piece with a single, clear focal point.
