Guangdong included green fluorite with quartz at 74 g; a small cabinet piece that rewards a loupe.
Fluorite is the classic collector's halide: calcium fluoride that grows as cubes, octahedra and stepped combinations, often with colour zoning that shows best in daylight.
Good quartz is about hexagonal prisms with clean terminations and the glassy lustre that lets a cluster catch light from every angle.
Guangdong's Jinlong district is known for hematoid and chlorite-phantom quartz with specular hematite, alongside fluorite and calcite.
By size it is small cabinet, 6.7 × 3.8 × 3.2 cm (2.64 × 1.50 × 1.26 in) and 74 g (2.6 oz). Condition is otherwise as photographed.
