À propos de ce spécimen
Yaogangxian snowflake purple fluorite at 38 g; a miniature that rewards a loupe.
Chinese fluorite has become a staple of modern collections for its sharp crystal faces, strong colour and a lustre that reads well from across the room.
Yaogangxian Mine in Yizhang County is China's most famous mineral locality, a tungsten mine that has produced fine fluorite, arsenopyrite, quartz and cassiterite for three decades.
Dimensions place it in the miniature range, 4 × 3.8 × 2.2 cm (1.57 × 1.50 × 0.87 in) and 38 g (1.3 oz). Condition is otherwise as photographed.
Each specimen is individually photographed and catalogued before it is listed.
