À propos de ce spécimen
Yunnan orange crystallised calcite at 7 × 4.5 × 7.5 cm and 140 g; a small cabinet piece with strong colour.
Collectors chase calcite for form rather than colour: crisp crystal edges and a habit you can identify from across the room.
Yunnan's copper and lead-zinc districts produce the azurite, malachite, pyromorphite, hemimorphite and blue aragonite that define Chinese secondary minerals.
By size it is small cabinet, 7 × 4.5 × 7.5 cm (2.76 × 1.77 × 2.95 in) and 140 g (4.9 oz). Otherwise the piece is sold exactly as photographed.
Carbonate: never clean with acid or vinegar.
Each specimen is individually photographed and catalogued before it is listed.
