À propos de ce spécimen
Sichuan quartz-epidote at 56 g; a small cabinet piece with a lot of sparkle.
Quartz is the most collected mineral on earth for good reason: sharp hexagonal prisms, bright terminations and endless variation between localities.
Epidote's deep pistachio to olive green and striated prism faces separate it from prehnite.
Sichuan hosts Xuebaoding, Jinkouhe and Leshan, sources of aquamarine, scheelite, prehnite, gypsum and the epidote-quartz skarn specimens seen here.
The piece is small cabinet in size, 5.2 × 4.7 × 2.8 cm (2.05 × 1.85 × 1.10 in) and 56 g (2.0 oz). Condition is otherwise as photographed.
Every specimen here is photographed and catalogued individually before listing.
