À propos de ce spécimen
Hunan pyrite cube floater at 126 g; a miniature with textbook form. Keep dry.
Pyrite is the most collected metallic mineral, and the best pieces combine sharp form with a lustre that has not dulled; store it dry to keep it that way.
Hunan is the heartland of Chinese mineral collecting, home to Yaogangxian, Xianghualing and Shangbao, and its fluorite, calcite and sulfides are the benchmark for the country.
Dimensions place it in the miniature range, 4.1 × 3.8 × 3.5 cm (1.61 × 1.50 × 1.38 in) and 126 g (4.4 oz). The specimen is otherwise sold in the condition shown.
Specimens are photographed and catalogued one at a time before they reach this page.
