À propos de ce spécimen
Fujian large-crystal green fluorite at 227 g; a small cabinet single crystal with glowing colour.
Chinese fluorite has become a staple of modern collections for its sharp crystal faces, strong colour and a lustre that reads well from across the room.
Fujian is China's most productive fluorite province, and its granite-hosted veins also yield the garnet, quartz and calcite that fill modern collections.
By size it is small cabinet, 6.9 × 6.3 × 4 cm (2.72 × 2.48 × 1.57 in) and 227 g (8.0 oz). Condition is otherwise as photographed.
Specimens are photographed and catalogued one at a time before they reach this page.
