A cluster of golden-brown stilbite crystals in the species' typical bow-tie sheaves, with a pearly lustre on each blade and a slightly darker core where the sheaves meet. Several bow-ties overlap into a single hand-sized group.
Stilbite is usually associated with India's basalt cavities, so the Yunxiao, Fujian material is a rarer Chinese occurrence and a nice locality addition for zeolite collectors.
It weighs 27 g (0.9 oz), a small cabinet-sized piece that displays well on a shelf or in a cabinet. Sold exactly as photographed; any known repair, mount, treatment or condition note is disclosed in this listing.
