關於此標本
短胖的犬牙狀晶尖以橄欖金與蜜黃相互擠簇，一束不比核桃大的方解石花。晶體半透明，朝外的晶面油亮，彼此相抵處則呈霜面，而晶體之間的縫隙裡嵌著細小的黃銅色黃鐵礦晶體，標本一動就會閃光。
銅綠山是含銅矽卡岩地帶，這樣的成礦環境就寫在這件標本裡：方解石在開放空腔中與硫化物一同結晶，其溫暖的色調也是由同一批富鐵流體帶入的。偏三角面體——也就是犬牙狀——晶習正是這裡的經典形態。摩氏硬度僅 3，晶尖極易碰傷，因此請由底部而非晶體托起標本。
標本雖小卻完整，3.8 × 3.3 × 2.0 cm、重 26 g，隨附固定用的透明壓克力方塊，把晶體托離架面。照片拍的正是這一叢晶簇，含展示座。
