關於此標本
尺寸: 3.6 × 3.1 × 1.4 cm (1.42 × 1.22 × 0.55 in) · 36 mm (1.42 in).
A patch of vivid magenta to purple-red aragonite needles spreads across a dark grey matrix, with a small transparent gypsum blade standing near its centre and a smaller pink patch at the edge. The colour is unusually intense for aragonite.

It weighs 15 g (0.5 oz), a miniature-sized piece that fits a miniature cabinet or a desk display. What you see in the photos is the piece you receive; any known repair, mount or treatment is disclosed above.
- Mineral: Aragonite, Gypsum
- Locality: Yunnan, China
- Weight: 15 g / 0.5 oz
