One large, sharp tetrahedrite crystal with steel-grey metallic faces sits on top of a mound of golden-brown siderite rhombs, with small brassy chalcopyrite grains along the contact. The tetrahedrite is big for the size of the piece.
Guizhou tetrahedrite in a crystal this size is uncommon; a 13 g thumbnail with three species and a clear focal crystal.
It weighs 13 g (0.5 oz), a miniature-sized piece that fits a miniature cabinet or a desk display. What you see in the photos is the piece you receive; any known repair, mount or treatment is disclosed above.
