À propos de ce spécimen
Yunnan smoky double-terminated quartz at 2.9 cm and 7.3 g; a miniature. A tiny smoky double-terminated quartz with a dark phantom inside, the smoky Shanling quartz the supplier names, both tips complete as the supplier notes.
The smoky colour is natural and usually deepens toward the terminations while the prism bases stay clearer.
Yunnan is China's most mineralogically diverse province, source of the pyromorphite, azurite and blue aragonite that have become collector favourites.
The piece is miniature in size, 1.3 × 1.4 × 2.9 cm (0.51 × 0.55 × 1.14 in) and 7.3 g (0.3 oz). Condition is otherwise as photographed.
