La plus grande touffe s'étend vers l'extérieur comme un ventilateur doux, tandis que les plus petits s'assoient séparément autour de la jante. Les zones de l'hôte, gris rose, restent exposées entre ces pousses colorées. La photographie en angle amène les touffes individuelles vers l'avant et révèle le centre en retrait, donnant à cette association guizhou à profil bas une composition ouverte, comme un paysage.
