The Huanggangliang skarn district of Inner Mongolia is one of the great mineral finds of the 21st century, known for fluorite, calcite, garnet and rare species.
The piece is miniature in size, 3.4 × 2.5 × 1.9 cm (1.34 × 0.98 × 0.75 in) and 24 g (0.8 oz). The specimen is otherwise sold in the condition shown.
