La croissance arrondie est dispersée plutôt que continue, laissant beaucoup de la surface de support plus foncée visible entre les taches vertes plus vives. La texture radiale fine apparaît sur les sphères plus grandes dans la vue de plus près. Une photographie en angle révèle un côté épais et inégal sous la large face et une bande pâle près d'un bord, donnant à la croissance vert clairsemée un fond terrestre stratifié sur ce spécimen de Guizhou.
