Bright lime-green pyromorphite crystals grow in small bouquet-like tufts from a wedge of white quartz with an ochre-stained upper surface. The crystals are short, stacked hexagonal barrels with a resinous shine, and the green reads almost neon against the pale matrix.
A thumbnail-size example of Guangxi's famous green pyromorphite, with a UV response shown in the photos. It is a lead phosphate mineral.
Weight 8 g / 0.3 oz. Miniature specimen, fits a miniature cabinet or a desk display. Sold as photographed, with any known repair, mount, treatment or condition note disclosed in this listing; colour is as true to hand as the photos allow.
