Four rounded, cream-white calcite balls of different sizes sit on a slab of dark brown rock; them as soft-centred, a lighter core showing through the outer crystal skin. The balls have a finely crystallised surface.
Botryoidal calcite from Zhejiang in this isolated-ball form is a graphic, minimalist specimen; the dark matrix makes the pale balls stand out.
