Creamy white calcite blades overlap like broad petals, their ribbed faces and stepped rims giving this Fujian cluster its layered shape.
Wide upright blades rise above a lower spread of flared calcite, creating the tiered profile likened to a sandwich cookie. Fine parallel growth lines and lightly tan areas can be seen on the pale crystal faces. Two front angles and a complete side view show the outline of this individual cluster. Some extraction damage; small chips and irregular crystal edges are part of the condition of the exact piece shown. Locality is recorded only as Fujian, China.
