À propos de ce spécimen
Shangbao, Hunan, cubic pyrite at 13 cm and 948 g; a large cabinet piece with hundreds of cubes. Keep dry.
Pyrite is the most collected metallic mineral, and the best pieces combine sharp form with a lustre that has not dulled; store it dry to keep it that way.
Hunan's tungsten-tin and lead-zinc mines have supplied the world with fluorite, calcite, quartz and sulfide specimens since the 1990s.
By size it is large cabinet, 13 × 11 × 5.5 cm (5.12 × 4.33 × 2.17 in) and 948 g (33.4 oz). Condition is otherwise as photographed.
Every specimen here is photographed and catalogued individually before listing.
