About this specimen
Bright blue veszelyite crystals gather in several small groups over pale hemimorphite. The cream-colored base contains a shallow central hollow, with blue faces projecting around its upper and lower edges. Fine mint-colored details appear between some of the larger blue crystals. The angled photograph reveals the depth of the hollow and the separation between neighboring blue groups, distributing vivid color across the uneven surface of this miniature Yunnan specimen.
