Yellow carlhintzeite covers a slender matrix with creedite and thin red-brown calcium vanadate crystals from Guizhou. Lemon-colored fibrous growth frames darker blade-like patches, while small pale creedite crystals add sparkle between them. The upright form exposes mineralization on several sides rather than a single flat face. The exact calcium vanadate species has not been determined.
