About this specimen
Fine creedite sprays cover the front of a pointed matrix, catching light across pale and warm brown-pink areas. Small yellow gearksutite patches appear between the sprays, adding bright accents without covering the entire surface. The reverse view exposes a darker, rougher side and makes the irregular outline more apparent. The contrast between the busy crystalline front and this darker backing gives the small Qinglong association two distinctly different viewing faces. Dimensions: 3.1 × 1.2 × 3.1 cm / 31 × 12 × 31 mm / 1.22 × 0.47 × 1.22 inch. Estimated weight: 10 g / 0.35 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
