About this specimen
Reflective green dioptase faces appear beside dense fine malachite growth. The smoother crystals gather along one side, while softer-looking green tufts cover much of the upper and opposite surface. A small area of warm brown matrix remains exposed beneath them. The close photograph reveals the contrast between sharply bounded dioptase faces and the much finer surrounding texture, creating a broad green association with noticeable changes in depth and surface reflection.
