About this specimen
Unusually green transparent-looking creedite flowers spread across a dark reddish matrix from Guizhou. Radiating crystal clusters vary from pale olive to yellow-green, with several open rosettes showing sharp individual blades. Black glossy areas of the host create strong contrast between the scattered flowers. The close view reveals delicate terminations and the layered growth inside each cluster; the source also records a phosphorescent response. Dimensions: 4.3 × 1.9 × 3.1 cm / 43 × 19 × 31 mm / 1.69 × 0.75 × 1.22 inch. Estimated weight: 22 g / 0.78 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
