About this specimen
Pale blue-white hemimorphite coats clear quartz with small veszelyite details from Yunnan. Rounded hemimorphite growth drapes across the matrix like a crust, leaving several transparent quartz points exposed along the upper edge. Warm brown openings and tiny blue-green phosphate accents break up the cool surface. The alternate view shows the coating continuing around a shallow cavity and reveals more quartz beneath it. Dimensions: 4 × 2.4 × 3.1 cm / 40 × 24 × 31 mm / 1.57 × 0.94 × 1.22 inch. Estimated weight: 27 g / 0.95 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
