About this specimen
Green-gray mushistonite coats dark kesterite crystals among silvery mica from Xuebaoding, Sichuan. The central metallic forms rise above a dense base of reflective mica blades, with olive and charcoal surfaces distinguishing the tin minerals from the pale host. Honey-colored areas warm the upper edge. Two views reveal the coating on several crystal faces and the mica's layered texture continuing around the compact upright matrix. Dimensions: 3 × 1.7 × 2.7 cm / 30 × 17 × 27 mm / 1.18 × 0.67 × 1.06 inch. Estimated weight: 12 g / 0.42 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
