Branching wires and plates of native silver, still bright with a pale tarnish, run across a plate of white calcite crystals with grey sulfide grains at the edges. The silver is clearly visible and forms a natural dendritic pattern.
Native silver from a US locality in a miniature cabinet piece; the wires are natural growth, not worked metal, and will tone darker with time unless stored dry.
