About this specimen
Tiny orange spessartine garnets punctuate a pale feldspar matrix from Fujian. Two vivid honey-orange crystals sit on opposite edges of the upright host, standing out against its white, finely textured surface. The larger garnet shows a bright glassy face while the smaller accent adds balance across the top. Two views reveal the matrix contour, crystal placement, and restrained color contrast of this compact natural association. Dimensions: 1.7 × 2.4 cm / 17 × 24 mm / 0.67 × 0.94 inch. Estimated weight: 5 g / 0.18 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
