About this specimen
Pale green prehnite forms rounded sparkling mounds around clear quartz and small black source-recorded babingtonite crystals from Yunnan. Several translucent points emerge between the soft botryoidal forms, creating strong contrast in color and habit across the narrow matrix. The cluster has mineral growth visible from both sides. Two close views show the mint-green texture, colorless quartz, and scattered dark accents across the 42 mm specimen. Dimensions: 4.2 × 1.5 × 3 cm / 42 × 15 × 30 mm / 1.65 × 0.59 × 1.18 inch. Estimated weight: 17 g / 0.60 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
