About Germanyextended article

What it is known for

The Ore Mountains (Erzgebirge) of Saxony were mined for silver and tin for centuries, and Schneckenstein there is a classic European locality for wine-yellow topaz. The Black Forest is known for fluorite and barite from mines such as Clara.

In our collection

Our German pieces are golden and yellow prismatic topaz crystals, some with beryl. Each listing shows the exact specimen photographed. Where the original label names only the country, we label it to country level rather than guess a mine.
