About this specimen
An amber-colored creedite rosette projects from the top of a dark purple fluorite matrix. Narrow crystals radiate around a warmer reddish center, creating a concentrated burst of color above the broader host. The close view reveals separate blades and bright reflections along their edges. Purple growth continues around the base of the rosette, providing a cool-colored frame that makes the small, projecting amber cluster the unmistakable focal point. Dimensions: 2.9 × 2 × 2.2 cm / 29 × 20 × 22 mm / 1.14 × 0.79 × 0.87 inch. Estimated weight: 11 g / 0.39 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
