Blue needles drift through the upper half of this large clear quartz point like feathers falling through still water: dense, fine and clearly visible. Backlit against a dark cloth, they turn a soft electric blue; in daylight they read as silvery veils inside bright, transparent quartz.
The upper faces and point are smooth and glossy, while the base keeps a cluster of natural parallel crystal ends with a pale peach skin, so the piece combines a sleek top with a raw foot. A cloudy white zone separates the two halves. Substantial and eye-catching, it suits a mantel or display shelf.
