About this specimen
Broad brown andradite garnet faces form a compact cluster, with pale associated crystals covering one side and gathering around its upper edges.
Large angular faces carry fine stepped textures and give way to darker recesses between interlocking crystals. The front is dominated by garnet, while the reverse shows a greater spread of pale, partly translucent material. Three complete views from the original supplier video show different sides of this same small specimen. The supplier identifies the main mineral as andradite garnet and records Inner Mongolia as the locality. The species of the pale associated material has not been confirmed. Irregular edges and surface growth textures are visible in the rotation video.
