About this specimen
Cactus quartz from South Africa forms one tall central point surrounded by purple amethyst clusters. Fine drusy crystals coat the main prism from base to termination, giving it a frosted sparkling surface. Lavender companion crystals fan outward below and create a balanced sculptural base. The reverse view shows additional purple points and the repeated crystal-over-crystal texture continuing around the upright specimen. Dimensions: 4.3 × 3.9 cm / 43 × 39 mm / 1.69 × 1.54 inch. Estimated weight: 35 g / 1.23 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
