About this specimen
Clear quartz towers rise through glossy green epidote on this Sichuan specimen. A tall central prism and several smaller points show crisp terminations, internal veils, and bright transparent edges. Dark olive epidote forms a rounded crystal-rich mass around the lower half, wrapping between the quartz points and accenting their clarity. Two views show the balanced upright architecture, the smaller side termination, and the contrasting glassy and striated textures across the compact cluster.
