About this specimen
Dark blue crystal fans stand out against a pale, porous matrix. The largest rosettes gather near the upper edge, with smaller blue patches continuing into a shallow hollow below. Seen obliquely, the fans project beyond the host and separate into closely packed narrow blades. This upright Yunnan veszelyite specimen combines a few distinct flower-like clusters with a scattered blue coating, offering both an overall shape and finer details to explore. Dimensions: 1.8 × 1.4 × 2.4 cm / 18 × 14 × 24 mm / 0.71 × 0.55 × 0.94 inch. Estimated weight: 6 g / 0.21 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
