About this specimen
A dark platy galena form sits among many clear-looking crystal points on an elongated specimen. Its broad reflective face bends into an irregular outline, contrasting with the straighter pale points around it. Smaller dark areas appear farther along the base. The second angle reveals more of the main plate's thickness and the dense crystal growth behind it, creating a strong change from the dark metallic focal area to the bright, finely pointed surroundings across the piece. Dimensions: 5.5 × 3.5 × 4 cm / 55 × 35 × 40 mm / 2.17 × 1.38 × 1.57 inch. Estimated weight: 202 g / 7.13 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
