Pale mint-green emerald crystals cross a dark matrix with black schorl tourmaline from Yunnan. Long slender beryl prisms lie at several angles, some partly embedded and others projecting above the surface. A brighter green crystal group near one edge provides a saturated focal point, while the black matrix makes the lighter emerald stand out. The side view reveals additional prisms and the layered relationship between the green beryl and dark tourmaline host. Dimensions: 4.2 × 2.2 × 3.3 cm / 42 × 22 × 33 mm / 1.65 × 0.87 × 1.30 inch.
