About this specimen
Dimensions: 7.8 × 7.8 × 7.8 cm (3.07 × 3.07 × 3.07 in); longest edge 78 mm (3.07 in).
A dark green phantom rises through this clear quartz sphere like a mossy branch, thick and textured, bending partway up so it looks almost like a small tree or a curled caterpillar. Beside it runs a long, pale mica blade, flat and fan-shaped, catching light along its edge.
Turn the sphere and the other side is a lacework of white feathery veils, with a rounded frosted patch and a small dark crystal set among them. The quartz is clear between the inclusions, and the polish is bright. A sphere with a real scene inside it.
