About this specimen
Lavender apatite crystals project from a dark layered mica matrix in this Xuebaoding association. One broad pale-violet crystal forms the upper focal point, with smaller translucent-looking faces visible along its side. The mica beneath reflects silvery and charcoal tones in closely stacked layers. A second photograph under ultraviolet illumination records the source-described fluorescent response, while the normal-light view shows the actual soft purple color and contrasting dark base. Dimensions: 3.8 × 2 × 3 cm / 38 × 20 × 30 mm / 1.50 × 0.79 × 1.18 inch. Estimated weight: 25 g / 0.88 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
