About this specimen
Rounded mint-green prehnite forms a melon-like center among quartz and epidote from Sichuan. Clear quartz points project above and below the pale green mass, while olive epidote dusts the curved surface and fills the contact zones. A translucent chalcedony-like edge frames one side of the compact association. Two views reveal its sculptural balance, contrasting habits, and the freestanding quartz point at the crown.
