Several quartz terminations rise from an etched central crystal in this compact floater from Xuebaoding, Sichuan, China. Clear upper faces contrast with the more softly textured lower body, while small attached crystals give the specimen an uneven, branching profile. Its free-growing base is part of the same piece.
