About this specimen
This Zimbabwe skeletal quartz crystal shows vivid purple zones suspended within a smoky transparent body. Fine hair-like threads, flower-shaped inclusions and sparkling mineral flecks create a layered nebula effect beneath the etched outer faces. The crystal measures approximately 4 × 3.7 × 2.8 cm and weighs 40.3 g. Its broad polished-looking windows and deeper skeletal textures reveal different internal scenes as the specimen turns.
