About this specimen
A pale crystal spray crowns a purple fluorite base, creating a marked contrast in both color and texture. Creedite's fine points gather at the top, while the lower fluorite shows broader, darker faces. One supplied photograph uses ultraviolet lighting and gives the piece a blue-violet cast; the ordinary-light view better separates the pale spray from its purple host. Compare the lighting views when considering the specimen's everyday display appearance. Dimensions: 3.1 × 2.1 × 3.7 cm / 31 × 21 × 37 mm / 1.22 × 0.83 × 1.46 inch. Estimated weight: 20 g / 0.71 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
