About this specimen
Pale potassium feldspar blocks overlap across a broad, shallow group. Fine surface lines and angular steps give the larger faces a layered appearance. Small golden chabazite crystals occur near one end, adding a concentrated warm accent to the cream-colored arrangement. The closer view emphasizes the different directions of the feldspar blocks and the narrow gaps beneath their projecting edges, while the golden details remain much smaller than the surrounding pale crystals. Dimensions: 4.3 × 1.5 × 2.8 cm / 43 × 15 × 28 mm / 1.69 × 0.59 × 1.10 inch. Estimated weight: 13 g / 0.46 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
