About this specimen
Salmon-colored potassium feldspar forms a compact arrangement of broad curved and stepped faces. Darker epidote areas occupy several recesses between the pale pink-orange forms. The central crystals overlap closely, with smaller blocky projections along the lower edge. A reverse angle reveals deeper surface steps and a darker band beneath the upper face, giving the specimen a strongly layered appearance across its warm-colored feldspar group. Dimensions: 4 × 4 × 4 cm / 40 × 40 × 40 mm / 1.57 × 1.57 × 1.57 inch. Estimated weight: 48 g / 1.69 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
