About this specimen
A substantial Zimbabwe skeletal quartz crystal shows smoky tea-brown faces with vivid purple zoning around the upper half. Inside, fine dark threads and flower-like inclusions create layered scenery that changes as the crystal turns. Natural growth steps texture the outer surface and frame the clearer viewing windows. Weighing 85.9 g, this piece has a balanced upright form and a deeper body than the slimmer scepter crystals from the same locality.
Approximate maximum dimensions: 3.15 × 3.15 × 9.17 cm / 31.5 × 31.5 × 91.7 mm / 1.24 × 1.24 × 3.61 inch, estimated from the source 85.9 g weight and reviewed visual form. Weight: 85.9 g / 3.03 oz, as reported by the source.
