About this specimen
A small included quartz crystal from Zimbabwe shows purple zoning through its upper half. The freestanding point has a broad termination, transparent gray lower faces, and a violet band that deepens toward the crown. Brown mineral inclusions remain visible inside the base without obscuring the crystal outline. Two close views show the internal color change, natural surface texture, and compact double-toned form from opposite sides. Dimensions: 1.1 × 1.7 cm / 11 × 17 mm / 0.43 × 0.67 inch. Estimated weight: 1 g / 0.04 oz, calculated from its dimensions.
